Due to the revamped format that was introduced last year, 36 different teams will play simultaneously on Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET with the aim of punching a ticket to the knockout stage, either through the eight automatic qualification spots or the eight play-off spots.
All eyes will be on Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain heading into Matchday 8. The two European powerhouses are on the brink of elimination, with PSG currently seeded at No. 22 and Man City seeded at No. 25.
