David Allen has already been contacted about a Johnny Fisher rematch and insists he will clear up any controversy from their first fight with a knockout win.
The Doncaster heavyweight floored Fisher in the fifth round but Allen reacted in disbelief after he was on the receiving end of a split decision defeat on the Usyk-Fury 2 undercard in Saudi Arabia.
A return bout could become a main event in the UK next year, with Allen revealing that a rematch is “the favourite” option for his next fight.
“They’ve already reached out to me about a rematch,” Allen told Sky Sports.

“I think I’ll headline a show in the UK next year from what I’ve been told, whether that will actually happen, things are always changing in this game. It looks like the most possible next fight for me but other people have also offered me other things.
“But the Fisher fight is the favourite for me. It’s a fight I’m open to happening. It’s the one on my wish list, but you never know what could happen.”
Allen’s previous career highlight came in 2019, a stoppage win over former WBA champion Lucas Browne in a bill-topping battle at The O2.
The 32-year-old would welcome a return to the same venue, especially as Fisher has attracted a large legion of fans to his last few fights in the capital.

Allen said: “Yeah, I think so [we could fill The O2]. If the fight happened, you know the ball is in both of our courts.
“Obviously he can go and do his thing because he sells tickets regardless of who he boxes but if they want to put right the first fight, then being at The O2 would go a long way to get me in the ring.
“I’m ready whenever really. I’ll be ready to box, I’ll be ready to keep going.
“I was ready for round 11 last week to be honest. It’s really lit a fire under me. I feel like the old version of myself, I’m ready for scrapping at all times again.”
Allen believes the unbeaten Fisher was on the brink of a stoppage loss and has vowed to finish the job when they share the ring again.
“He did amazing to get through it, super tough, really proved himself because he’s never really been in a hard fight before, so I was really pleased and proud of him that he got through it, but I was only ever really one shot away,” said Allen.

“He never really bothered me once in the fight, to be honest.
“The punch power… he can punch but I’ve boxed at the highest level and I’ve rarely been in trouble so that was never a big concern for me, but he can go about things differently, he can make it more of a boxing match, he can box more.
“I presume he’ll go about things differently in the rematch because he knows he can’t get in a fight with me and win. I’ll presume he’ll try to box.
“If a rematch happens, I’ll win the fight by a stoppage, it’s not a doubt in my mind.
“I’m definitely stopping him, one million per cent.”
