A mother and her two-year-old daughter have died after a car was rammed into a crowd of people in Munich on Thursday.
The 37-year-old woman and her child are the first fatalities from the incident, German police said on Saturday.
At least 36 people were injured in the Thursday morning attack.
The suspect, an Afghan national, was detained at the scene.
