For performance, the Pixel 8a was powered by a Tensor G3 chip paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. On the other hand, Pixel 9a will come with a new Tensor G4 chip paired with Titan M2 security chip for enhanced security. The storage variants are expected to remain the same. However, the Pixel 9a will provide faster performance and an improved AI processor due to a chip upgrade.
